PROPOSED PROJECTS

The bond proposal consists of the following projects which include a projected schedule and budget based on bond passage on November 5th.  

 

Project budgets represent a “turn-key” amount, which includes estimated construction cost, escalation due to inflation, fees, permits, furniture, equipment, and storm shelter code requirements.

DISTRICT-WIDE IMPROVEMENTS 

Scope:

Enhanced security features at all campuses


Five new buses to replace a portion of our aging fleet


Technology upgrades to increase infrastructure and access points

Schedule: Completed fall 2020 (Buses purchased over next five years)

Budget: $700,000

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Scope:

Classroom addition increasing capacity to 650, including an additional gym.

Increased capacity will accommodate future growth and moving sixth grade from the intermediate school.

 

Schedule: Construction begins fall 2020, opens fall 2021

Budget: $9,500,000
